About
About Kivarorounduppi Relationship Notes
We are a small, independent publication for adults who want to understand their relationships through the lens of good research, explained without hype and without blame.
Purpose
Why we write
Relationship advice online often swings between certainty and cynicism. We wanted something slower: explanations that name the study, the year and the limits, so readers can judge for themselves. Our aim is understanding rather than diagnosis, and gentleness rather than judgement.
Standards
How we choose and use research
- We prioritise peer-reviewed studies, meta-analyses and books by researchers who conducted the work.
- We name researchers and dates so ideas can be traced and checked.
- We flag where evidence is mixed, such as with popular frameworks like love languages.
- We review each guide at least once a year and correct errors promptly.
- We accept no sponsored content and do not sell products or courses.
Limits
What this site is not
We are not a therapy service and cannot advise on individual situations. Psychological research describes average tendencies, mostly drawn from Western, often heterosexual samples; your relationship may differ in important ways. Where there is fear, control or abuse, please seek specialist help rather than communication tips.
